David's 1st T-Ball Game!

David had his first t-ball game this morning. There are a total of 5 teams in the 3-4 t-ball league. Since there is an odd number of teams each team will have to play a double header on one of the Saturdays. Today was David's team's turn to play a double header. It was so fun seeing the kids play but I must admit, it was pretty rough on the kids to play a double header the first time they were playing t-ball! By the 2nd game, the kids were tired & not real into fielding. David had so much fun & was so proud of himself (we were so proud of him too)!

Go Miami Hurricanes! Ready to play some ball!

Great Games Kids! Go Hurricanes!

We spent the rest of the day hanging out at the house. The weather was beautiful today!. It was perfect weather for grilling! We grilled a Pork Loin. I made homemade garlic bread in the bread machine & we had my Great Grandmother's Cherry Jell-o Salad. YUMMY!

Garlic Bread

**This recipe came out of the cookbook that came with my bread machine.**

1 cup warm water (70-80 degrees)

1 T butter, melted

1 T nonfat dry milk powder

1 T sugar

1 1/2 tsp salt

4 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes

2 tsp garlic powder

3 cups bread flour

2 tsp active dry yeast

1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color & loaf size if available.

2. Bake according to bread machine direcions (check the dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed).
